【Summary】 On July 11, 2015, a visiting delegation of more than 50 faculty members and students from eight universities in Hong Kong paid a visit to the Sheng Xifu Museum in Beijing for an exchange. The company’s leadership attached great importance to the event and specially arranged for office staff to handle reception and provide guided tours. The purpose of this university student visit was to gain insight into the development of time-honored Beijing enterprises and experience the intangible cultural heritage of traditional handcrafted hat-making techniques. Chen Jiangshan and Master Ma Wanlan, the fourth-generation inheritors of leather hat‑making craftsmanship, personally demonstrated their skills to the students and instructed them on how to cut and work with leather and fur. On July 24, 2015, the Sheng Xifu Museum welcomed a summer internship group of over 30 students from the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology.
